You will find these commands useful after installing Fedora 20....

Yes, I have used these commands at Justetc, and for others in Virtual Box environments inside Windows as well as in regular Linux Environments.

Apache/Httpd Server
sudo yum install httpd
sudo service httpd start

MySQL
sudo yum install mysql-server
sudo service mysqld start
sudo /usr/bin/mysql_secure_installation

PHP
sudo yum install php php-mysql

//search additional php modules to install
sudo yum search php-

//install devel module required for xDebug
sudo yum install php-devel*

xDebug:
sudo yum install php-pecl-xdebug.x86_64

PhpMyAdmin
sudo yum install phpmyadmin*

Eclipse/Git
Use Fedora’s built in GUI-based Software Installation Feature. Please also install JDK/JDT as part of Eclipse Installation else install JDK separately.

NetBeans IDE
Download NetBeans IDE from https://netbeans.org/downloads/, use platform Linux (x86/x64). Netbeans will also need JDK.
It will download a .sh file

Run

sh the_file_name.sh
